Dr. Gregory Montgomery is a periodontist in Silverdale, Washington, dedicated to providing advanced periodontal and implant care with a focus on patient comfort and long-term health. He values family and community, principles that have guided him throughout his career.
Dr. Montgomery earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. While at Creighton, he pursued a rigorous course of study and met his future wife, a Pacific Northwest native. After graduation, he practiced general dentistry while completing extensive continuing education in implant surgery and restorations. He went on to complete an implant fellowship and residency, earned Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, and became eligible for Associate Fellow status in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry—a distinction that reflects his dedication to excellence in the field.
Although passionate about comprehensive dental care, Dr. Montgomery’s true calling was periodontics and implant surgery. He entered the prestigious Periodontal and Implant Surgery Residency at the University of Washington to focus exclusively on the work he found most rewarding and impactful. The program includes three additional years of full-time clinical and didactic training. During this time, he also completed a full academic schedule and conducted original research on Porphyromonas gingivalis mutants, earning both a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Montgomery and his wife have two children—a son and a daughter—and love living in the Pacific Northwest. They are grateful to call this region home and are proud to serve the Silverdale community, combining advanced surgical expertise with a patient-centered approach in a place that holds a special place in their hearts.
